Аннотация. В данном докладе , представленном на Университетской психологической конференции (Ленинградский государственный университет им. А.А. Жданова, 1-5 октября 1947 г.), С.М. Василейский описал основные ошибки в деятельности изобретателей. Отметив, что ошибки, промахи и недочеты, допускаемые в своей работе изобретателями, разнообразны и имеют различную природу, он подчеркнул, что его интересуют ошибки и недочеты только психологические, которые относятся к различным сторонам личности и являются следствием различных психических процессов. В изобретательской работе существует и такой поход, когда автор идет «на авось»; возникающие при этом ошибки, безусловно, представляют интерес для психологии, для анализа мышления и творчества, и проблема эта не разработана в психологической литературе. Однако, Василейского интересовали часто встречающиеся ошибки изобретательской мысли, анализ их желателен с практической и с теоретической точек зрения. Таким образом, он представил ошибки изобретателей на разных этапах процесса изобретения: на подготовительной фазе (постановка задач, уже решенных или технически неразрешимых); на этапе формулирования задач (долгая задержка на чрезмерной формулировке задач); на центральной фазе изобретения (стремление с самого начала додумать проблему до конца, решать проблему наугад, отход от условий, поставленных вначале, игнорирование основных требований, предъявляемых к любому техническому изобретению и экономической выгодности, одностороннее влияние опыта и традиций и т.д.); в заключительной фазе изобретения (многократная проверка изобретения на практике на основе острой самокритики).

Abstract. In this report, presented at the University Psychological Conference (Leningrad State University named after A.A. Zhdanov, October 1-5, 1947), S.M. Vasileisky described the main mistakes in the activity of inventors. Noting that the mistakes, omissions and shortcomings made by inventors in their work are diverse and have a different nature, he emphasized that he was only interested in psychological mistakes and shortcomings that relate to different aspects of the personality and are the result of various mental processes. In inventive work, there was also such a campaign when the author went “at random”; the errors that arise in this case were certainly of interest to psychology, to the analysis of thinking and creativity, and this problem had not been developed in the psychological literature. However, Vasileisky was interested in frequently occurring errors of inventive thought, their analysis was desirable from a practical and theoretical point of view. Thus, he presented the mistakes of inventors at different stages of the invention process: in the preparatory phase (setting problems already solved or technically unsolvable); at the stage of formulating tasks (long delay on excessive formulation of tasks); in the central phase of the invention (the desire from the very beginning to think through the problem to the end, solve the problem at random, departure from the conditions set at the beginning, ignoring the basic requirements for any technical invention and economic profitability, one-sided influence of experience and traditions, etc.); in the final phase of the invention (multiple verification of the invention in practice on the basis of sharp self-criticism).
