Аннотация. В данной статье автор В.Н. Колбановский вспоминает год назад реактологическую дискуссию по основным вопросам психологии. 6 июля 1931 г. общее собрание ячейки Государственного института психологии подвело итоги этой дискуссии и приняло резолюцию, где главной мыслью был призыв к психологам к перестройке психологии. Он обратил внимание на то, что этот поворот происходит медленно, и психология пока не справилась с радикальной перестройкой, не смогла ответить на вопросы, предъявляемые к ней практикой социалистического строительства. На фоне экономического кризиса, царящего в буржуазных странах, советские психологи могли бы показать настоящее место психологии в экономике, шагая в ногу с социалистической практикой, исходя из нее, отвечая на запросы, предъявляемые ей на различных участках социалистического строительства. Автор обратился к проблемам психотехники, осветив только один ее аспект – правильный подбор и расстановка рабочих на предприятии, играющий огромную роль в промышленности и на транспорте, которые решаются через: разработку методов психологического исследования в различных районах СССР с учетом их национальных особенностей; психологическое исследование школьников для рационального распределения их по соответствующим ФЗУ, техникумам и вузам; помощь рабочим в борьбе за овладение наукой и техникой (оптимизация режима труда учащихся без отрыва от производства рабочих, научное обоснование педагогического процесса в заводах-техникумах и втузах, учет особенностей восприятии научного и технического материала, запоминания и осмысления у взрослых); содействие техпропаганде (научить разбираться в чертежах, производить математические вычисления большей или меньшей сложности, понимать механический принцип в движении машин, знакомиться с законами электро- и термодинамики) и т.п.

Abstract. The author recalled the reactological discussion on the main issues of psychology held a year ago. On July 6, 1931, the general meeting of a chapter of the State institute of psychology summed up this discussion and adopted a resolution; the main idea was the call to psychologists for the restructuring of psychology. He drew attention to the fact that this turn was taking place slowly, and psychology had not yet coped with a radical restructuring, and had not been able to answer the questions put to it by the practice of socialist construction. Against the background of the economic crisis reigning in bourgeois countries, Soviet psychologists could show the real place of psychology in the economy, keeping pace with socialist practice, proceeding from it, responding to the requests presented to it in various sectors of socialist construction. The author turned to the problems of psychotechnics, highlighting only one of its aspects - the correct selection and placement of workers at the enterprise, which played a huge role in industry and transport, which were solved through the following: the development of psychological research methods in various regions of the USSR, taking into account their national characteristics; psychological study of schoolchildren for their rational distribution among the relevant factory apprenticeship school (FZU), technical schools and universities; assistance to workers in the struggle to master science and technology (optimization of the work regime of students on the job, scientific substantiation of the pedagogical process in factories-technical schools and higher educational institutions, taking into account the peculiarities of the perception of scientific and technical material, memorization and comprehension in adults); assistance to technical propaganda (to teach to understand drawings, to make mathematical calculations of greater or lesser complexity, to understand the mechanical principle in the movement of machines, to get acquainted with the laws of electro- and thermodynamics), etc.
