ГЕРМАН СЕРГЕЕВИЧ НИКИФОРОВ: ЭТАПЫ ТВОРЧЕСКОГО ПУТИ (К 85-ЛЕТИЮ СО ДНЯ РОЖДЕНИЯ)

Аннотация. Статья посвящена этапам жизненного пути, фактам научной и творческой биографии профессора Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета, доктора психологических наук, выдающегося представителя Ленинградской/Санкт-Петербургской научной школы психологии труда и инженерной психологии Германа Сергеевича Никифорова. Показаны три основных этапа его многолетней научной деятельности, определившие сферу научных интересов и научного поиска: психология самоконтроля человека, психология надёжности и психология здоровья. В каждом из них Герман Сергеевич сделал серьёзный научный вклад. На первом этапе интересы Г.С. Никифорова были связаны с решением проблемы надёжности человека-оператора, что диктовалось логикой развития инженерной психологии того времени. Г.С. Никифоров с коллегами в рамках хоздоговорных работ, проводившихся на факультете психологии СПбГУ решал проблему индивидуализации подготовки лётчиков и авиационных специалистов гражданской авиации. с помощью тренажёров. Это послужило основанием для постановки проблемы надёжности человека в системах человек-машина в процессе выполнения операторской деятельности. Было разработано учение о самоконтроле как сквозном базисном механизме, обеспечивающем надёжность профессиональной деятельности человека. В работах по психологии здоровья составивших третий этап научной деятельности Г.С. Никифорова продемонстрирована его приверженность Петербургской научной школе человекознания, продолжены традиции отечественных учёных, таких как В.М. Бехтерев, И.А. Сикорский, П.Б. Ганнушкин, И.П. Мержеевский, И.М. Балинский, С.С. Корсаков, В.П. Сербский в области обеспечения здоровья человека. Преемственность в науке – основная черта работ Г.С. Никифорова и его учеников. Продолжая развитие идей Петербургской научной школы человекознания, Г.С. Никифоровым с коллегами и учениками сделано теоретическое обобщение в виде концепции психологического обеспечения здоровья. В соответствии с нею психологические технологии и поддержка должны сопровождать человека на всех этапах жизненного и профессионального пути. Герман Сергеевич – основатель и более 25 лет бессменный руководитель кафедры психологического обеспечения профессиональной деятельности СПбГУ, занимается наряду с научными исследованиями и вопросами подготовки специалистов в области организационной психологии и психологии труда.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the stages of the life path, as well as the scientific and creative biography of German Sergeevich Nikiforov, a professor at St. Petersburg State University, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, and an outstanding representative of the Leningrad/St. Petersburg scientific school of occupational and engineering psychology. Three main stages of his long-standing scientific career are highlighted, which shaped the scope of his research interests and scientific pursuits: the psychology of human self-control, reliability psychology, and health psychology. In each of these areas, German Sergeevich made significant scientific contributions. At the first stage, G.S. Nikiforov’s interests were focused on solving the problem of human operator reliability, driven by the logic of engineering psychology development at the time. Together with colleagues, as part of contract research conducted at the Faculty of Psychology of St. Petersburg State University, he worked on the individualization of training for pilots and civil aviation specialists using simulators. This laid the foundation for addressing the issue of human reliability in human-machine systems during operator activities. A doctrine of self-control was developed as a fundamental cross-cutting mechanism ensuring the reliability of professional activity. The third stage of G.S. Nikiforov’s scientific work, dedicated to health psychology, demonstrated his commitment to the St. Petersburg scientific school of human studies, continuing the traditions of Russian scholars such as V.M. Bekhterev, I.A. Sikorsky, P.B. Gannushkin, I.P. Merzheevsky, I.M. Balinsky, S.S. Korsakov, and V.P. Serbsky in the field of human health preservation. Continuity in science is a defining feature of G.S. Nikiforov’s work and that of his students. Advancing the ideas of the St. Petersburg school of human studies, Nikiforov and his colleagues and students developed a theoretical generalization in the form of a psychological health support concept. According to this concept, psychological technologies and support should accompany individuals throughout all stages of their life and professional journey. German Sergeevich is the founder and long-standing head (for over 25 years) of the Department of Psychological Support for Professional Activity at St. Petersburg State University. Alongside his research, he has been involved in training specialists in organizational psychology and occupational psychology.
