Аннотация. Статья была подготовлена В.С. Филатовым в качестве текста доклада на межвузовском совещании, организованном кафедрой психологии Ярославского педагогического института и Московским отделением Общества психологов в Ярославле 21-22 декабря 1961 г. В совещании приняли участие сотрудники педагогических и психологических кафедр педагогических институтов, представители Института психологии Академии педагогических наук РСФСР и Министерства просвещения РСФСР. Главной темой совещания было обсуждение проблем психологии труда, трудового обучения и воспитания. Обращение кафедры психологии Ярославского педагогического института к этим проблемам в конце 50-х - нач. 60-х гг. XX в. стало следствием запроса государства на политехнизацию школьного образования, выраженного в виде Закона СССР от 24.12.1958 «Об укреплении связи школы с жизнью и о дальнейшем развитии системы народного образования в СССР». Подготовка учительских кадров в педагогических институтах, готовых к политехническому образованию школьников, требовала научного обсуждения актуальных проблем, отраженных в докладе В.С. Филатова. К последним автор доклада отнес проблему формирования нового человека с коммунистическими чертами характера, привычками и моралью, проблему связи развития и воспитания личности, проблему сочетания биологического и социального в развитии способностей и личности. В качестве ведущих факторов формирования человека нового типа В.С. Филатов выделил трудовую деятельность, реализуемую в процессе общественного производства; необходимость перестройки школьного образования на основе связи обучения с трудом; организацию и широкое распространение социалистического соревнования. Успешное решение проблемы формирования человека нового типа В.С. Филатов видит в использовании комплекса психологических знаний, получаемых в общей психологии, социальной психологии, психологии труда и педагогической психологии. Ценность настоящей статьи в том, что она фактически стала отправной точкой начала систематических исследований ярославскими психологами проблем психологии труда, трудового обучения и воспитания.

Abstract. The article was prepared by V.S. Filatov as the text of a report at an interuniversity meeting organized by the Department of Psychology of the Yaroslavl Pedagogical Institute and the Moscow branch of the Society of Psychologists in Yaroslavl on December 21-22, 1961. The meeting was attended by employees of the pedagogical and psychological departments of pedagogical institutes, representatives of the Institute of Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the RSFSR and the Ministry of Education of the RSFSR. The main topic of the meeting was a discussion of the problems of labor psychology, labor training and education. The appeal of the Psychology Department of the Yaroslavl Pedagogical Institute to these problems in the late 1950s - early 1960s was a consequence of the state's request for the polytechnicalization of school education, expressed in the form of the USSR Law of December 24, 1958 "On Strengthening the Ties between School and Life and the Further Development of the Public Education System in the USSR." The training of teachers at pedagogical institutes prepared for the polytechnic education of schoolchildren required a scholarly discussion of the pressing issues reflected in V.S. Filatov's report. Among these, the author identified the problem of developing a new type of individual with communist character traits, habits, and morals; the connection between personal development and education; and the combination of the biological and social in the development of abilities and personality. V.S. Filatov identified labor activity, implemented in the process of social production; the need to restructure school education based on the connection between learning and work; and the organization and widespread dissemination of socialist competition as the leading factors in the formation of this new type of individual. Filatov sees the successful solution to the problem of developing this new type of individual in the use of a range of psychological knowledge obtained in general psychology, social psychology, labor psychology, and educational psychology. The value of this article is that it effectively became the starting point for systematic research by Yaroslavl psychologists into the problems of labor psychology, labor training, and education.
